Judge Bios for the contest!

Meet the judges from my past Be-a-Famous writer contests! Mrs. P has garnered the support of some of the best writers in the country to judge her annual writing contest, past judges include #1 best-selling author Meg Cabot (The Princess Diaries); Jim Davis, creator of Garfield, the most popular cartoon strip in the world; Danny Kallis, creator of Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and The Suite Life on Deck, television’s top-rated shows for kids; Dave Barry, Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist and author of dozens of bestselling books; and Craig Ferguson, host of the CBS Late Late Show and author of Between the Bridge and the River; Bonny Becker, author of the beloved Bear and Mouse picture books for kids; David L. Chris Grabenstein is the author of many fast-paced and fun page-turners including the New York Times bestsellers The Island of Dr. Libris, Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library, and Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics. Currently nominated for 39 different state book awards, the first Lemoncello book has spent over a year in the top ten of the New York Times Middle Grades bestseller list. Nickelodeon has optioned the book to become a movie. Chis is also the co-author with James Patterson of the #1 Bestselling I Funny, Jacky Ha-Ha, Treasure Hunters, and House of Robots series. His dog, Fred, has better credits. Fred starred on Broadway in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. His books make him a perfect judge for my library themed contest this year.

Shannon McClintock Miller is a teacher librarian and technology integration specialist. She encourages young people and educators to have a voice while learning, creating, collaborating, and connecting to others globally. She is also the author of the award winning The Library Voice Blog that teachers everywhere use as a resource. /p>

Mrs. P is the co-creator and star of MrsP.com, one of the most popular entertainment and educational sites for kids on the Internet. She has received recognition for her work from the American Library Association, the National Parenting Center and TeachersFirst.com, among others. Mrs. P lives in a big house with a Magic Library. She enjoys maintaining and driving her vintage, red Ferrari sports car, traveling around the world and, most of all, reading to kids. Occasionally, she dresses up as the actress Kathy Kinney, who starred in The Drew Carey Show for nine years, and appeared on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and who co-wrote the popular book, Queen of Your Own Life, which was featured on Oprah.com.
